Carlitos

These terms cover the Carlitos app and Carlitos Plus. By using Carlitos you agree to them. “Carlitos”, “we” and “us” mean the people who make the app.
Using Carlitos
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Carlitos on devices you own or control. Please don’t copy, resell, reverse-engineer or misuse the app, its art or its hedgehog.
If you got Carlitos from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Where it conflicts with these terms, Apple’s agreement wins for the licence itself.
A tracker, not a bank
Carlitos helps you see which bills each payday has to cover. It doesn’t pay bills, move money or connect to any bank or e-wallet, and it isn’t financial advice. Totals and due dates come from what you enter, so please double-check anything important. Paying your bills on time is up to you.
Your data
Everything you enter stays on your phone (see the Privacy Policy). We can’t see it, so we can’t recover it if your phone is lost or the app is deleted. Make a backup file in Settings now and then.
Carlitos Plus
Carlitos Plus isn’t on sale yet. When it opens, it will work like this:
- Monthly is an auto-renewing subscription with a 7-day free trial. After the trial, you’re charged the monthly price shown at purchase, then again each month, until you cancel.
- One year is a single payment for 12 months of Plus. It doesn’t renew on its own.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends.
- A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can cancel or manage it any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel it.
- If you cancel during the free trial, you won’t be charged. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- Refunds for purchases through the App Store or Google Play are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies.
- Promo codes have the terms shown when you redeem them, and can’t be exchanged for cash.
- Prices may differ by country and may change. A price change never applies to a period you’ve already paid for, and the store will tell you before it affects a subscription.
Changes to the app
We keep improving Carlitos, so features may change, and some may be added to or moved out of Plus. If we ever stop offering Carlitos, we’ll give notice in the app first.
No warranty
We work hard to make Carlitos reliable, but it’s provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a late fee from a bill that was entered wrongly or missed. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can’t be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without limiting any consumer rights you have where you live.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, the app will tell you before it takes effect.
